About the role
Sout West Healthcare is thrilled to announce the expansion of our Surgical Services Unit (SSU) to operate 24 hours 7 days a week. To support this expansion, we are seeking motivated skilled and experienced Registered Nurses to provide day to day leadership and management in our fast paced surgical environment.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations in our Surgical Services Unit, catering to a diverse range of surgical and medical patients, including orthopaedics, plastics, ENT, and general surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, maintain a positive work environment, and deliver high quality care to patients and their families.
This role will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager in the promotion and maintenance of clinical standards, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, strategic and effective cost management, supervision of staff and contribute to the overall management of the unit.
Position Overview
- Full Time and Part Time Positions available, (please specify your preferred hours)
- Shifts to work across 24/ 7 rotation
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Salary starting at: $106,834 pro rata, plus superannuation.
