Description:

Robert Walters has partnered with a leading ETF fund to recruit an Associate Portfolio Manager to join their rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the portfolio management team with the management of ETFs across multiple asset classes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree level education or equivalent, e.g. CFA
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an analyst, trading or ETF operations function, ideally within funds management.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of financial products
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for interpreting portfolio management and risk measurements
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge including advanced skills in VBA programming
  • Ability to make decisions, establish priorities quickly in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong risk management mindset

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of ETFs
  • Provide inputs to set up portfolio management and trading capabilities
  • Ensure ETFs perform in line with their investment objectives and remain within mandates
  • Monitor daily reconciliations between front office systems and official valuations
  • Identify and execute trades necessary for funds to meet their investment objectives
  • Assist with regular fund reporting requirements
  • Improve operational efficiencies of the portfolio management and trading process
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for fund information from sales and clients
  • Assist in-house macro-economic analysis and multi-asset research
