QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, economics, health management or related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:Twelve years of relevant technical, business or clinical work experience
• Certification/Registration:
• Epic data model certification or obtain within 6-months of hire date
• Certification in Mercy’s health economics platform within 6-months of hire date
• Other Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Highly proficient with development of BI applications, e.g., PowerBI, Tableau
• Highly proficient in programming language, e.g., SQL, SAS, R

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Master’s degree in related field
• Other Skills and Knowledge:
• Health or medical economics experience
• Clinical, patient care, technology, or payor environment experience
• Knowledge of HEDIS
• Understanding of the distinctions between and features of the major U.S. health care coverage entities
• Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial - and important sub-groups, such as Medicare Advantage, HMOs, PPOs
