We are on the lookout for an Associate Product Analyst to join the Pandora Product Analytics Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

About the Product Analytics Team: The mission of the Product Analytics Team is to drive product strategy and innovations, ultimately contributing to business successes, by delivering actionable insights on our customers and products. We are a team of talented data professionals sitting across Singapore and Berlin, with over 15 nationalities, well balanced gender ratios, and highly diverse industry backgrounds. Our team is closely integrated into the Product and Tech squads, working alongside product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders, and have a direct impact on product directions. We are also part of a bigger data team, including data engineers, data scientists, ML engineers that constantly communicate, collaborate, share knowledge as one team.

YOUR MISSION:

We are looking for an Associate Product Analyst to join our Berlin office. You will be working closely with the Transaction Product and Tech squads as well as the senior analysts in your squads to make valuable contributions to our data foundations:

  • Tracking & QA: Determine what needs to be tracked and measured. You will be responsible for tracking user interactions and clickstream data to understand customer behavior.
  • Data modeling & pipelining: develop efficient data models to extract relevant insights that feed into reports and dashboards.
  • Data visualization: democratize data by building customized dashboards & reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Data analysis: conduct deep dive analysis to answer concrete questions from different teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

YOUR HEROIC SKILLS:

  • You’ve completed a degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, computer engineering or an equivalent education or possess relevant practical experience in data
  • Familiar with SQL or equivalent data processing language/tools such as R, Python, matlab
  • Familiar with at least one data visualization tool, including but not limited to looker studio (data studio), Tableau, Qlikview, power BI, matplotlib etc.
  • Hands on experience with large scale data through previous internship or projects
  • Very good communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members with diverse culture and background
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver who loves learning and strives for excellence

Responsibilities:

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCT ANALYTICS TEAM INCLUDE:

  • Product OKRs & Metrics: Define what ‘good’ looks like by setting up a product metric framework and quarterly OKRs.
  • Tracking & QA: Define which user behaviors need to be tracked and work with engineers on the implementation and QA.
  • ETL & Reporting: Building data pipelines and self-service dashboards.
  • Experimentation: Design, set up, and analyze AB tests for hypothesis validation and impact measurement.
  • Exploratory Analysis: Drawing insights from data to drive product strategy & roadmap.
