JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary education in Medical Science/Healthcare/Business/Management, or related fields
- 3-5 years of industry experience in marketing and/or sales, preferably within the medical device/capital equipment, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics field
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite of software
- Strong relationship management and project management capabilities
- Working knowledge of the Hospital and Healthcare system is desirable
- Highly developed interpersonal effectiveness and relationship-building abilities
- Collaborative approach and ability to work well with multiple cross-function teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel interstate as required.

THE ROLE:

We have an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our team as an Associate Product Manager with the Healthcare Systems and Technologies Business Unit (HST) at Baxter. In this role you will support the Patient Support Systems (PSS) and Global Surgical Solutions (GSS) Marketing and Sales teams by providing marketing direction and expert knowledge to attain and exceed business objectives.
Reporting to the Head of PSS and GSS, you will support the commercial team on product marketing, therapy development and marketing development activities to exceed/attain business and financial targets for allocated portfolio, while championing new opportunities in line with the Business Unit strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with product marketing, therapy development, and marketing development activities to exceed/attain business and financial targets for the allocated portfolio
- Effectively introduce new products by creating objectives, tactics, and training plans as instructed for PSS and GSS products
- Collaborate with Product Manager and Sales to develop resources and responses to support tender and agreement opportunities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, market analysis, promotional programs, market research, and channel strategies for PSS and GSS products
- Showcase excellent presentation and communication abilities to effectively engage and influence individuals within and outside the organization
- Support strategic plans for assigned portfolio by applying clinical, sales, and technical expertise to educate and train team members and caregivers
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with opportunities to lead mini marketing projects
- Provide project management support, including the opportunity to lead mini projects across the PSS and HST Business Unit
- Analyze market trends and sales potential, maintain accurate customer and product data
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs, making recommendations for improvements
- Ensure product registration efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging trends to coordinate innovative ideas and growth strategies.
