JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an expert Asset Manager to lead all aspects of inventory control, cycle counting, asset tracking, shipping, and receiving processes at our manufacturing factory (100% On-site). This role is pivotal in handling inventory, tracking assets, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations!

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, asset tracking, shipping, and receiving.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and asset tracking systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Control and Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory accuracy. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure accurate intake of parts for production needs.
  2. Asset Tracking and Maintenance: Establish and maintain a robust asset tracking system to supervise the location, condition, and lifecycle of company assets. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and assets, coordinating repairs and replacements as needed. Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods and materials. Be responsible for the coordination of shipments. Monitor receiving procedures, inspect incoming/outgoing shipments, and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, asset condition, shipping, and receiving activities. Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize asset utilization and minimize losses. Process Improvement: Continuously improve inventory management, asset tracking, shipping, and receiving processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for these functions.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and shipping/receiving teams to ensure flawless operations. Coordinate with maintenance, IT, and other departments to address asset-related issues! Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to inventory control, asset management, and shipping/receiving. Maintain detailed records of asset creation, disposals, and transfers.
