Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Production Coordinator (Level B) to support the Midbody Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
We are currently seeking a motivated team player to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and moving materials, monitoring work in progress, and communicating the status of parts and materials. With your problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with various functions, you will play a crucial role in avoiding schedule delays.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions
  • Monitors work in process
  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability
  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes

Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

  • Performs loading and offloading of shipments from carrier trucks
  • Processes shipment documents in support of supply chain activities
  • Works under general supervision

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • 1+ years of experience supporting manufacturing or retail industry for non-production materials, tool and shop supplies
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain forklift license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1+ years of experience working with the ERPLN application
  • 1+ years of experience working with KITS (Kit Integration Tracking System)
  • 1+ years of experience working with (SAT) Shipside Action Tracker
  • 1+ years of experience working with SRIT
  • 1+ years of experience working with One BPS (One Boeing Production System)

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED) and 1 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
