Description:

Owlstone Medical Ltd is seeking a highly organised and self-motivated Associate Project Manager to join our team to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 to 18 months. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various projects and providing maternity cover.
As an Associate Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating all work packages and activities within the projects. You will work closely with the Principal Investigators (PIs) and other project stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Programme Manager to ensure work is coordinated across the entire programme.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Leading project planning, including defining project scope, identifying stakeholders, and developing project briefs.
  • Managing project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, including managing risks and changes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contributing to the administration of Intellectual Property (IP) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Participating in the PMO activities, such as project assurance and development seminars.
    As an Associate Project Manager, flexibility and adaptability are crucial, as projects and activities may change direction rapidly. You will need to be agile and ready to revise project plans and activities accordingly.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

  • Experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Degree in a life science discipline or related field.
  • Experience with Intellectual Property (IP) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) administration is a plus.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable.
