Position Overview:
As a post-trade sales associate, you will be part a leading multi-asset class and international clearing house, serving major international exchanges and platforms as well as a range of over-the-counter markets globally and across Asia Pacific. LCH clears a broad range of asset classes, including securities, foreign exchange OTC products, interest rate swaps, sterling denominated bonds, and repos, serving more than 160 members and over 5000 clients globally.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Associate to join our team at LCH/Post-trade. The Sales Associate will play a vital role in supporting our sales efforts by fostering strong relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for growth within our client base.

Enter the key responsibilities of the role:

Sales

  • Support sales team to prospect new client/member relationships to bring new business on-board.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and client visits.
  • Understand clients’ needs and objectives to effectively promote LCH’s clearing and suite of post trade solutions.
  • Work closely with Risk and Sales on sample portfolio feedback, commercial analysis, and account reviews.
  • Assist sales and senior members of the APAC team on sales process, business planning, and account reviews by developing very good understanding of the client base, industry trends, and business opportunities/challenges.
  • Collaborate with global teams across different business lines within post-trade to deliver products and resources across the globe in a seamless manner.
  • Partner with legal and compliance on regulatory advocacy and to promote open access across key APAC markets.
  • Improving our content delivery to members and clients, to establish us as a market leader.

  • Knowledge of clearing and financial derivatives
  • Experience in driving Client Strategy/ Sales planning and analysis of revenue opportunities.
  • A curiosity for data and an ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
  • Pro-activity and assertiveness in driving control improvement for your area
