Description:
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in biomedical/biotech lab performing biomedical assays is mandatory (either from first job experience, internship or thesis/studies).
- Previous experience in maintenance of microscopes, with microfluidics technology, or programming in LabView is preferred.
SOFT AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, perseverance and can-do attitude.
- Technical ability in combination with a hands-on mentality.
- High sense for quality, accuracy and detail.
- A team-oriented attitude, flexibility, enthusiasm and ability to work independently.
EDUCATION:
- Master’s Degree in Bioengineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to project-oriented teams.
- Perform cell-based assays (e.g. ligand binding, cell signalling).
- Maintain, troubleshoot and optimize microfluidic and optical set-ups.
- Be involved in data analysis & interpretation, prepare written reports of your results, and communicate results and observations to the team.
- Use mammalian cell culture technologies including cell line generation, maintenance & quality control of cell lines (expression of target protein).
- Perform flow cytometry experiments and biochemical assays.
