SUMMARY:

In this role, you will be in a client facing position, which will be working directly with a California based client and will support National Claims Shared Services area.
You will be accountable for assisting with the collection and analysis of data to support category plan development, pipeline management, and various sourcing initiatives. Your primary focus will be on conducting in-depth analyses to inform strategic sourcing decisions, utilizing a combination of extensive research and technical expertise. By identifying improvement opportunities, you will empower business leaders to make informed decisions and foster a culture of accountability. Collaboration with business stakeholders will be crucial in establishing standardized processes that are both practical and measurable in their effectiveness.
Must live in one of the following locations: California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Maryland, Virginia, or Georgia.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience working in an analytical field highly preferred.
  • Experience working with SQL preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document the clients’ baseline and projected spend for the following categories: purchase history, equipment life cycle, product growth, client budgets and growth plans.
  • Prepare data analysis material required for the contract approval process to support award decisions.
  • Utilize complex analytical models to manage spend data and analyze opportunities to maximize savings.
  • Communicate saving initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing team to identify and pursue savings opportunities.
