Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Design, build, and deploy applications that enhance organizational processes and operations. Work alongside HR, Payroll, and Employee Health team leaders, as well as other stakeholders and teams, to collect requirements, devise tailored solutions, and address any challenges that arise. Proficient in scripting languages needed for ServiceNow with a knack for problem-solving, effective communication, and organization. This role is responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into technical capabilities for an optimal user experience. You will,
Work closely with HR, Payroll, Employee Health and other department leaders to understand their needs and preferences, validate design with peers, develop, and deploy a robust user friendly solution that follows developmental and security standards.
Conduct detailed unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams.
Work closely with IT ServiceNow team to collaborate on peer review, development standards, and deployment of items.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR technology development best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
Participate in regular code reviews and provides constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the product and customer experience.
Stay updated on new ServiceNow features and advocate for appropriate adoption plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field is essential.
Hands-on experience with fundamental coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required. Additionally, adaptability to acquire proficiency in new software and technologies is necessary. Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in creating record producers, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, client scripts, and script includes.
