ASSOCIATE SOLICITOR, OFFICE OF THE GENERAL COUNSEL

• Remuneration: $93,295 - $102,941; plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading

In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Completion of a law degree from an accredited law school or completion of the Legal Practitioners Admission Board’s Diploma in Law Course
• Admitted as a legal practitioner and holding a current practising certificate.
• Minimum post-qualification experience (PQE) of 1 year (or if a mixed legal and relevant non-legal then total work experience)
• Demonstrated experience in the areas of key accountabilities
• Strong communication skills (verbal and in writing) and attention to detail
• Ability to exhibit and model the OGC’s purpose, promise and principles in contributing to the work of the legal function within Treasury
• Can work autonomously and flexibly to meet competing priorities with a willingness to learn
