We are looking for an Associate Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This role is critical to our success and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day Supply Chain related activities involving the procurement of material, inventory planning, optimization and control, external supply assurance, PPV, work order planning, cycle counting and logistics planning.

What You’ll do:

  • Be responsible for managing the Purchasing, Production Planning, Inventory Management, and Logistics planning functions that allow us to meet company objectives and customer requirements. The goal of this position is to support inventory availability and increase turns through proactive purchasing, efficient production planning and collaboration with cross functional stakeholders and representing the function in our S&OP process.
  • Forecast, plan and review the levels of raw materials and finished goods to project shortages and implement risk mitigation strategies. Procure raw materials from both external suppliers and affiliate business units
  • Standardize, develop and maintain detailed reports for inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments
  • Determine the most cost-effective level of finished goods and raw materials inventory across warehouses to ensure on-time deliveries based on historic demand and forecast projections
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders on inventory strategies for enabling the business to respond effectively to supply chain variabilities due to supplier lead times, manufacturing cycle times, and non-forecasted demand, while minimizing carrying costs and transportation costs.

What You’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Finance, and 4 years of relevant experience in related fields of Inventory control. APICS certification desirable.
  • Direct experience working within Operations, Supply Chain and or Inventory functions. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Inventory Management or Supply Chain.
  • Strong computer skills. Experience with JD Edwards preferred, but not required
  • Ability to anticipate problems, offer solutions, develop strategies and address issues within the supply chain processes to meet financial and inventory targets
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire and ability to work in a flexible, fast paced environment
