• Active Directory / Azure Active Directory
• Windows Server Operating Systems
• Virtual Platforms (VmWare, Hyper-V)
• Networking

EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years working in a related discipline

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Four-year (Bachelor’s) degree in Information Technology or related field.
Additional equivalent years of experience in Information Technology can be substituted for degree.

PREFERRED EDUCATION OR CERTIFICATION

Formal training/certification in cloud infrastructure, networking, or related technologies

PURPOSE AND IMPORTANCE OF POSITION

This position is to be part of the Systems Engineering team, working closely with other members of the team on assigned projects and support items; this may include interfacing with other departments in terms of troubleshooting & planning implementations.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking to move on from a 1st/2nd line support position, or who has previous experience with cloud technologies and would like to progress their career in that area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide support to the Systems Engineering team & wider Riverstone teams
• Work on assigned projects, as dictated by team and department leads
• Partake in team training sessions, where appropriate
• Provide documentation around configured systems & processes
• Contribute to the Systems Engineering agile planning sessions, including definition of work items
• Be able to learn-on-the-job in reference to new systems & services
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors for configuration & support of supplied services
