Job Title: Associate, Systems Software Engineering

Summary of duties: Collaborate with traders to improve trading ecosystem by coming up with creative ideas and discussing new feature requests, issues and resolution. Handle project’s priorities, delivery and trading desks’ expectation. Work with global teams to design, develop, and integrate trading analytics, and real-time trading tools into the trading platform. Provide real-time support for our real time trading platform for equities, futures, fixed income and FX. Design and implement test plan, debugging and defining corrective actions for our tools. Design and develop innovative solutions to sophisticated problems, identifying issues and roadblocks around support, testing and development effort.
Qualifications: Master’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related OR Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related. Must have two (2) years of experience with: programming in Java and J2EE; relational databases and SQL; ORM technologies (JPA and Ibatis); shell scripting in Linux and UNIX environments; developing REST API services; message-oriented middleware API including Java Message Service (JMS); test-driven development and object-oriented design; Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Putty, MobaXterm and CI/CD tools (GitLab and Teamcity); Maven, Junit and Mockito; and one (1) year of experience with front-end frameworks including Node.js.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $142,800 – $150,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
