Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Technical Data Designer for Oklahoma City, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1+ years’ of experience developing or maintaining technical data for military aircraft
- 1+ years’ of experience in the use, management or writing of technical publications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience with cross functional teams
TYPICAL EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year’s related work experience, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Update existing Technical Orders (TO)
- Responsible for the quality and timeliness of work assigned
- Expected to pro-actively seek out necessary information to complete tasks
- Responsible to leadership of any issues affecting quality
- Collects, researches and analyzes source data
- Identifies source data inaccuracies and takes corrective action
- Conducts peer reviews of completed publication elements
- Participates in customer technical and program reviews
