Description:

Fusion Health is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing Associate Training Specialist to join our Operations team at our Woodbridge, NJ office location! This candidate will participate in dynamic and challenging projects to help with the design, delivery, and coordination of training initiatives for our healthcare software clients. Responsibilities:

THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE…

The Operations team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. The Associate Training Specialist is responsible for delivering training sessions, conducting workshops, and providing support to correctional facility staff to ensure they effectively utilize our EHR system. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the Operations team’s success, such as:

  • Lead training sessions for medical personnel, clinicians, administrators, and other relevant stakeholders, on the effective and efficient use of Fusion’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Assist with development and revisions to training courses.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to facilitate effective learning for both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Train internal and external personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. These may be onsite at client(s) facilities, or conducted remotely.
  • Conduct on-site training sessions for medical personnel, clinicians, administrators, and other stakeholders. These sessions may involve traveling to client facilities and conducting hands-on training workshops, seminars, and classroom courses to ensure effective and efficient use of Fusion’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Assist with the creation of comprehensive training materials, user guides, and tutorials to enhance user understanding of the EHR platform.
  • Provide support to facility staff, addressing questions, resolving issues, and troubleshooting problems related to training.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in our EHR platform, as well as relevant industry trends, to continuously improve the quality of training and support provided.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, gather feedback, and communicate client needs and concerns to the product development team for continuous improvement.
  • Support End-Users on-site during the Go-Live of the EHR.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training courses and identify areas for improvement to enhance the overall training experience.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of the computer-based learning management system.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technologies, or a related field
  • 1+ year(s) experience developing and providing technical or healthcare-related training
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner
  • Passion for training and education, with a patient and supportive approach when working with diverse individuals
  • Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and models
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet training and support needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with remote training tools and technologies
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays, to various client locations nationwide. Travel will vary in frequency and duration.
  • Adaptability to flexible schedules based on client needs, which may include weekends and extended work hours during training sessions and EHR system implementations.
  • Basic understanding of electronic health records or healthcare operations is a plus
  • Experience with learning management systems is a plus
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plu
