Description:

LOCATION:

Humlebæk, DK
Job Family: Research & Development
Country/Region: Denmark
If you think working with stakeholder needs and requirements and usability within innovation projects sounds exciting, how about spending 2 years with us as an Associate to kickstart your career?
During this time, you will get to innovate our future products through direct stakeholder and user collaboration – to the benefit of millions of people all over the world with intimate healthcare needs.
“You’ll gain experience with innovation processes and what it takes for a product to perform in a global market. And you’ll see it from several angles in terms of usability, manufacturability, sustainability, and user needs,” says Stine Renberg Andersen, Team Manager, Usability Engineering.
2 amazing teams – 1 formative year in each
In this 2-year Associate position, you will split your time between 2 teams that are closely interlinked in our innovation projects and processes.
You will spend one year in Usability Engineering with 6 engineering colleagues where we work with end users research and usability testing of innovative products and concepts.
You will spend one year with 12 colleagues in Systems Engineering working with the various stakeholder needs and requirements in our innovation projects to ensure product performance, manufacturability, sustainability as well as documentation for a regulatory pathway.
“Perhaps you’ll follow one innovation project the first year and another the next. Or perhaps you’ll see different phases of the same project but from 2 different teams. We’ll look at which projects may interest you,” explains Niels Eilersen, Director, Systems Engineering.
Innovation for our users of the future
Stakeholder needs and requirements is an area where we are always looking to further our development. And you can be part of moving us forward, bringing your fresh knowledge to the table. You will begin your time with us with a thorough onboarding process and join a mentor as you begin in one of our innovation projects.
In Usability Engineering, you will take a more specialist approach as you:
Work alongside industrial design, material, system engineering and mechanical engineers and as a usability expert in our projects
Gather feedback from our users through interviews, prototype tests, user scenario tests or workshops, which will take you travelling up to 30 days a year
Feed your input from our end users to the innovation projects
Work on documentation at a technical and systematic level
In Systems Engineering, you will play an important role as a facilitator as you:
Are allocated to a cross-functional project team for the innovation project of your choice
Assist in defining user and stakeholder needs, gathering and aligning all relevant information and balancing product considerations
Become part of ensuring that our products from the innovation projects live up to the demands and requirements
Facilitate workshops
Ensure review and approval of our documentation
Engineer with an interest in user needs and innovation
We are looking for a new colleague with a keen interest in user needs and innovation. You enjoy teamwork and are curious about people – but also about the way we work on our processes. You are not afraid to ask questions and you thrive in an environment where we deliver as a group.

FINALLY, WE IMAGINE THAT YOU:

Are finishing or have a degree within engineering – mechanical, medical technology, design innovation, biomedical or similar
Have some experience with innovation, user research, workshop facilitation, use test or requirements specification such as design control and documentation
Are fluent in English, both verbal and written
