QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 7+ years’ of experience in public accounting with a strong emphasis on assurance services.
  • Hold a current and valid CPA license required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and client relations.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 7+ years’ of experience in public accounting with a strong emphasis on assurance services.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead, manage, and oversee a wide range of assurance engagements, including financial statement audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures engagements.
  • Develop and cultivate strong client relationships by delivering exceptional client service and managing client expectations.
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to a team of auditors, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Review financial statements, disclosures, and audit documentation for compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
  • Identify and address engagement issues, communicate findings, and offer valuable insights to clients.
  • Stay up to date with accounting and auditing regulations and industry developments.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior management to develop and execute business strategies.
