Title: ATM Test Analyst - Quality Engineer(I)
Location: Welwyn Garden City Office
Grade: 8
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
Test Analyst will be responsible for End-to-end testing of ATM software, ATM builds and related activities. This includes analysing business requirements, writing test scripts, validating test cases, and investigating/tracking any issues or errors discovered during testing.
Expectation of methodical attention to detail and record keeping for purposes of test validation.
Clear communication skills required to co-ordinate with, and keep informed, multiple areas of the business throughout course of the testing life cycle.

Key Ares:-

• identifying and executing the necessary tests, along with the logging of the outcomes of that testing.
• Creation of test scripts, test plans and contribute towards estimates and prioritise their assigned tasks/products, and Interaction with third parties will also be required.
• Designing tests scripts, scenarios and test data appropriate to the current testing activates.
• (Identify the most appropriate implementation approach for a given test, design test conditions based on the analysis of system functions. Also avoiding unnecessary complexity)
• Logging errors discovered in verification of test execution – recovering from these errors, and analysing their causes
• Attend/lead document walkthroughs, reviews and inspections for user requirements
• Evaluating the outcome (coverage, success, progress, quality) of each testing cycle, creating reports for the Senior Test Analyst / ATM Solutions manager
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of ATM models and their differences with regards to testing activities.

Basic Qualifications

• GCSE or Equivalent qualification in I.C.T, or I.C.T related skills
• Experience in the ATM industry, with a focus on NCR & Wincor/DN models
• Strong documentation & communication skills
• Diagnostic and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Postilion Experience
• MTIP/ADVT/LINK Certification experience
• End to End Test Cycle experience
• Clear 2 Pay Simulator experience
• ISTQB Qualification
• SQL qualification or experience
