Compensation:
$80,000 - $130,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
- Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution
- Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
- Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
Qualifications:
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment
- Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- Must be a member of the Florida Bar Association
- 2-4 years of recent experience in First-Party Property Insurance is highly preferred
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite is necessary
