    How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne…
    The Audience Engagement Officer is responsible for growing our online audience and engagement rates by creating and sharing content, monitoring channel performance and delivering information to our audiences via their primary channel of choice.
    This work involves activity across ‘digital channels’ including but not limited to, City of Melbourne owned social media channels, Councillor and Lord Mayor owned social media channels (via their office), internal communications channels and platforms, Recreation and Waterways owned social media channels, website(s) via multiple CMS, partnering agencies/organisation, BAU customer journey communications via multiple CRM’s and promotional marketing emails.

    This role is more than posting content, you will own our brand, and diversify and deepen our audience’s connection to us.
    You’re a story teller and expert communicator, you’ll find the magic that happens every day across the City of Melbourne’s Recreation and Waterways and prepare it in a variety of mediums for consumption.
