The Easterseals Center for Better Hearing is a busy non-profit practice with 3 offices located in Western and Central Connecticut. We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, highly skilled audiologist to join our team to work in our Waterbury and Meriden locations. Our staff enjoys helping people gain a better quality of life through the quality hearing healthcare that our Center provides. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licensed to practice audiology and fit hearing aids in the State of Connecticut. Board Certified in Audiology or Certificate of Clinical Competency.
EDUCATION
Doctor of Audiology or Master’s Degree
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years in practice preferred.
Experience in pediatric and difficult to test populations.
Hearing aid sales and service.
Cochlear implant and osseointergrated devices
Strong Computer Skills including hearing aid software, Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records, able to learn new systems quickly.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Demonstrates professional, appropriate, and effective written, verbal, and non-verbal communication with patients, families, medical staff, vendors and co-workers to promote the continuity of care and services to enhance our clinical image.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Responsibilities:
Diagnostic audiology evaluations for patient age range (pediatric – geriatric).
Determine the need and make appropriate referrals/recommendations to medical, therapeutic, vocational and/or educational professionals.
Hearing aid selection and fitting, counseling and aural rehabilitation.
