Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Audit Analyst works under the direction of the Compliance Manage and or Director to perform ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to BSWH policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Associate’s or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience
Responsibilities:
- Monitors and conduct routine and periodic audits of access to protected Health
- Information (PHI) in key systems within the system to support compliance with the health care privacy and data integrity requirements.
- Conducts auditing, monitoring activities to regulate compliance with BSWH policies and procedure, and federal, state and local laws.
- Provides written audit reports, identifying risks and recommending appropriate steps to improve effectiveness and mitigate risks.
- Manages assigned tasks to meet committed deadlines, quality standards and expectations.
- Assists in development of reporting mechanisms and interfaces needed to produce audit reports.
