AUDIT ANALYST, GOVERNANCE

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Co-ordinating and cooperating with both internal (Underwriters, Claims, etc.) and external (Brokers, Lloyd’s of London) stakeholders in scoping audit instructions for 3rd party Auditors.
  • Reviewing 3rd Party audit reports in a timely manner, challenging findings, and ensuring remedial actions are completed and the audits are closed in a timely fashion.
  • Analyzing audit findings and preparing a summary report for meetings with other departments (Compliance / Conduct Risk / Legal).
  • Maintaining process data in internal systems and preparing letters of recommendations; following up / escalating on any recommendations and ensuring that issues are resolved.
  • Providing operational assistance to Underwriters on wide range of Delegated Authority activities adherence to the Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and Code of Practice for Delegating Authorities.
  • Maintaining and developing all automated reports in line with audit analysis requirements, including updating existing reports and creating new ones.
  • Participating in external audits as an AXA XL representative and in meetings / conferences at the London office.

You will report to Assistant Manager, Delegated Underwriting Governance.

SHARE YOUR TALENT

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • Preferred Legal or Insurance areas background and experience.
  • Fluent English: written and spoken preferred experience with legal documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail: together with ability and willingness to stay on top of the changing regulatory requirement.
  • Communication skills: ability to deal with a wide range of colleagues (junior to very senior) as well as numerous senior stakeholders outside of the team (internal and external).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to assertively challenge whilst maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Ability to manage own workload and to prioritize tasks appropriately.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member or as an individual, as circumstances dictate.
  • Ability to oversee/identify potential problems, to make sensible judgements and to proactively look for solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word, Excel especially.
  • Experience with Power Query and VBA would be a plus.
