Description:
One of the largest independent Accountancy firms in North London, who have been established for over 50 years, are recruiting a brand-new Audit Semi-Senior role due to the growth of the Practice. Working in an audit team of 16, this firm has a very low staff turnover, a great working culture and can offer structured and fast-track opportunities for progression.
As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for assisting and leading audits for companies across a range of sectors including property, sports, media & entertainment, professional services, and hospitality, covering both privately owned businesses and PLCs. This role is split circa 75/25 in favour of audit.
Audit Semi-Senior responsibilities
- Leading and assisting audits from planning through to completion as well as reviewing the work of Juniors
- Preparation and submission of statutory accounts - FRS 102 1A - Limited Companies and LLPs
- Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns (reviewed by tax department)
- Manage portfolios, communicating directly with clients and assisting clients with accounts software and other queries
- Training clients on cloud software
- On the job training of juniors and subordinates
Experience of CCH would be advantageous.
