ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Data Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data in both transactional and analytical systems. The role requires hands-on experience in data quality analysis, API testing, and proficiency in using various testing tools. The Data Quality Engineer will work closely with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to validate data flows and processes, identify data quality issues, and coordinate testing activities to maintain high data standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement data quality tests to ensure that data used for analysis is accurate, complete, and reliable.
Develop automated data quality testing procedures to validate data from various sources, including databases, data warehouses, and external APIs.
Analyze data to identify data quality issues and work with data engineering teams to resolve them.
