We are currently looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to join our Civil Engineering team on the Sunshine Coast. No formal experience is required as you will be taught the application of your Certificate level drafting study as your work. The applicant should have a keen interest in learning how to draft certain elements of various civil engineering projects including:

• stormwater drainage;
• catchment analysis;
• flood modelling;
• sewer reticulation;
• water reticulation;
• earthworks; and
• construction phase stormwater management.

Candidates may be studying or have already completed a Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent. Your computer skills in AutoCAD Software can be honed as you go to complement your existing knowledge and desired career choice. This full-time, permanent career opportunity offers exposure to the variety of challenging and stimulating projects we work on as you grow your technical drafting skills.
Drafters work very closely with our designers and engineers and contribute to the output of engineering projects. Important qualities include a high regard for detail and accuracy, a willingness to learn, and an approachable demeanour for collaborative work environments.
