Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing industrial automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects.
  • Programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) for automated processes.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with automation systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and upgrades of automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Electrical control panel design
  • Liaison with Global Team
  • Exploring and implementing new ways to automate the systems.
  • Programming new automated components
  • Industrial Ethernet network design and testing
  • Factory acceptance test specification documentation
  • Generation of risk assessments and method statements
  • On site installation, testing and process commissioning.
  • Training documentation
  • Operation and maintenance documentation
  • Maintain good client relations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Management of subcontractors
  • Developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures for automated processes.
  • Training and providing technical support to operators and maintenance personnel on automation systems.
  • Monitoring and analyzing data from automation systems to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in industrial automation technology and recommending innovative solutions to enhance operations.
