Automation Design Project Manager

You will participate in an exciting role to help transform agriculture operations and processes in South-East Asia’s first high-tech glass greenhouse to maximize productivity and obtain optimal efficiency in vegetable production.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the product development process, from design, implementation, execution, and testing to delivering the highest quality product.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Min Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
2. Candidate should possess strong engineering analytical skills coupled with strong organizational skills.
3. At least 3 years of managerial experience in managing projects onsite.
4. Be familiar with Autodesk AutoCad and Solidworks.
5. Preferably experience in communicating with foreign workers so that work can be completed efficiently.

1. Automation design

• Assist in existing automation system improvement.
• Lead automation prototype development for new farm, incl. working with oversea partner, & sourcing for local contractors/ partners.
• Work on automation project MOUs/ contracts drafting & signing.
• Lead full scale automation system design & implementation for new farm.
• Draft automation system testing & commissioning documents.
• Lead automation system testing & commissioning.

1. Lead pre-construction project management for new farm.

• Compile information & apply government grants.
• Work with qualified persons (QPs), e.g. architects, professional engineer (PE), for new farm design & approval.
• Work on new farm construction & automation system integration timelines & schedule.

1. Assist establish maintenance procedures & maintenance store (preferred to be covered).

• Work with Farm Engineering Manager to produce SOPs for various maintenance tasks.
• Ensure spare parts & consumables are available when they are needed.
• Establish a simple procedure (SOP) to track spare parts & consumable usage & top-up.
