Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer (RPA), you will build automations which our Business Analysis and Product teams have identified as needed. You will largely work with Automation Anywhere and other tools within DrFirst’s tech stack. You will be required to practically apply existing, new, and emerging technologies (Automation Anywhere) to new and evolving business and operating models.

What you will work on:

• Developing Robotic Process Automations using Automation Anywhere
• Working with Delivery Manager, Solutions Architect, Business Analysts and other stakeholders in identifying and defining requirements
• Collaborating with business and technical SMEs to define automations, business rules, and exceptions
• Contributing to and authoring technical design documents (TDD) and process design documents (PDD)
• Identifying and create reusable automation components and ensure consistency in design across use-cases
• Developing automations/customizations utilizing Python, Automation Anywhere, and other automation tools
• Installing of Automation Anywhere software and required third party libraries and components
• Collaborating with DevOps/Platform Engineering to develop CI-CD pipeline for Automation Anywhere automation including automated test execution
• Implementing Bot throughput logging, auditing, and exception handling
• Contributing and planning Automation Anywhere/automation stack upgrades to newer/latest version
• Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business and IT
• Estimating development efforts and providing guidance on development timelines, risks and constraints
• Conducting code review with peers to ensure adherence to requirements and coding standard

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Automation Anywhere Robotics Process Automation development experience
• 2+ years’ experience working with fast-paced or agile project delivery methodologies
• Experience in developing and managing packages in Automation Anywhere for external consumption
• Automation Anywhere RPA Developer Certification
• Strong knowledge of the Robotic Enterprise Framework
• Hands on coding experience with Python
• Experience in using Automation Anywhere Credential Manager for maintaining, securing and retrieving user credentials
• End to end process automation using Automation Anywhere. Experienced in staging and deploying the automation solution into test and Live environments

Physical Requirements:

• 90% Desk/Phone work
• 10% Travel
