QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineer or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of automation or electrical engineering or equivalent skills acquired in practice, as well as several years of experience in a comparable position
  • Sound knowledge of control and regulation systems and their architecture (preferably Siemens SIMATIC PCS7) and programming of process automation systems, as well as knowledge of standard interfaces and protocols in the automation and IoT environment (Profinet, Profibus, OPC-UA, IO-Link, MQTT)
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, networks and databases
  • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with interdisciplinary topics
  • Comprehensive language skills in German and English
  • International mobility and experience of working in international multi-cultural teams

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementation / programming and installation / commissioning of automation solutions (incl. documentation and training) as part of projects
  • Production support to ensure trouble-free operation as system support, including local and international support
  • Industrial installation for old/new and conversion projects, installing sensors and actuators and carrying out signal and loop tests
  • Updating the electrotechnical documentation of machines and systems as well as assisting in the creation of internal standards and guidelines
  • Coordination of external companies
