REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Controls Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience with Control Systems including PLC, SCADA, DCS, etc.
  • Experience with PLC programming, particularly with Allen-Bradley & Siemens products.
  • Understanding of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID).
  • Experience in onsite commissioning and maintenance of fixed plants is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisive decisions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.

Responsibilities:

ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and contribute significantly to the design and optimization of our sophisticated control systems. This role involves developing, debugging, and maintaining ladder logic PLC code, generating user-friendly HMI screens for complex machinery, and reviewing electrical designs to support code documentation and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert advice and support for the company’s sophisticated control systems.
  • Develop and debug ladder logic PLC code with an emphasis on organization, structure, documentation, maintainability, and reusability.
  • Design simple yet effective HMI screens for complex machinery, ensuring they provide adequate feedback for troubleshooting.
  • Review electrical designs to assist in machine code documentation and development.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select suitable equipment and instruments for projects.
  • Participate in international travel for onsite commissioning and maintenance of fixed plants as required.
