Automation Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Automated Engineer to join our company and contribute to the development and implementation of automation solutions that streamline our processes and enhance efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in Google Scripts, Zapier, Quickbooks Online, and PowerBI.
• Strong experience in automating accounting processes.
• Proven track record in automating accounting processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
• 2+ years of experience in building and executing automated tests.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and scripting.
• Excellent problem- solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to interact with the development department.
• Collaborate with other business departments to understand how automation can improve workflow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for our current systems and processes.
• Identify software application weaknesses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and test cases.
• Conduct testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure reliability and functionality.
• Monitor, diagnose and evaluate the performance of automated systems, making improvements and modifications as needed.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation-related issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation engineering.
• Identify required improvements in the test and development processes, make contributions to used automation tools, successfully address specific needs.
