We are searching for a
n
Automation Engineering
Director
who will be instrumental in defining future product offerings for the Diabetes Operating Unit. Expected to lead a team in the design,
development
and implementation of high-volume automated manufacturing systems. This individual will be accountable to the Operations Team within the Diabetes OU, managing resources and programs according to Medtronic and industry policies, standards, and regulations. Further, the candidate will continue to improve departmental procedures while building upon
a strong foundation
of talent through hiring, coaching, and mentoring.

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree required
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience.
• Able to travel 25% or more of the time, as required to accomplish business’ goals.
