We are seeking a skilled Release Manager / Engineer to join our team. This role involves coordinating and managing software release activities across agile scrum teams or within a portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with automated deployment pipelines, and a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience in stakeholder and program management.
  • Strong technical capability in building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in scripting and debugging.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and their adoption.
  • Effective business communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in release management or related roles

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop release plans and cycles, coordinating release content across scrum teams or within a portfolio.
  • Continuously monitor and measure project/application release lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines and associated processes.
  • Monitor outcomes of test automation suites, providing critical input to the testing team for improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and promote best practices, including business stakeholders.
  • Embed continuous improvement into process and tools frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage non-production infrastructure and environments.
  • Develop run books and implementation plans, and conduct release readiness reviews.
  • Coordinate Go-Live activities including the execution of deployment plans and checklists.
  • Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss release scope and address roadblocks.
