Automation & Manual Test Engineer (JAVA)

We are seeking a skilled Automation & Manual Test Engineer with expertise in JAVA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of our software products. In addition to writing test scripts, the candidate will also be involved in identifying and troubleshooting issues to improve overall product functionality. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Support various Institutional Banking Group Operations projects through participation as core member where required.
• Liaise with stakeholders e.g T&O teams across locations to gather requirements and document user stories
• Strong in Java programming to learn and support test automation development using Selenium (Java) on web and mobile applications and support the test execution
• Analyse test requirements to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Plan and ensure test environment and data availability.
• Prepare test data required for testing.
• Conduct execution of test cases manually and/or using automation tools.
• Monitor and control test activities such as conduct execution of test cases, raise, monitor, track and retesting of defects.
• Ensure completeness in the validation of test cases, conduct test scenarios and results walkthrough with stakeholders.
• Communicate/report project status to manager/stakeholders on a timely and regular basis.
• Establish good interaction and working relationship with various stakeholders.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of working experience in Software Testing experience
• Experience in Automation and Manual Testing
• Experience in JIRA and Selenium
• Must have experience in testing application in Java platform
• Banking domain experience is nice to have
