DFP Recruitment is hiring for Automation/Manual Testers with experience using Azure DevOps to join a Federal Government client whose purpose is to help government build a better future for all Australians through the economic enablement enriched by Science and Technology. You will be joining a team which offers support, sustainment and enhancement to a key clients facing system which enables the delivery and management of grants to individuals and organisations throughout Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Test Engineer: Responsible for creating and managing test plans, executing test cases, and prioritizing testing efforts for web-based applications.
- Skills Needed: Proficiency in Azure DevOps, strong analytical skills, experience with defect tracking, and familiarity with accessibility testing.
- Collaborative Approach: Work within multidisciplinary teams to analyse requirements, raise defects, and engage with stakeholders throughout the testing process.
- Contribution to Testing Strategy: Provide input into testing strategies, support automation testing practices, and ensure digital solutions conform to accessibility guidelines.
Primary Skillset required:
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft Suite: Hands-on experience in developing test plans and cases for custom applications utilizing Azure and Microsoft suite of products and services.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps: Experience in tracking and managing test plans and cases through the Azure DevOps platform.
- Test Artefacts Development: Expertise in creating comprehensive test plans, cases, and strategies, including writing, reviewing, and executing complex test artefacts.
- Collaborative Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams comprising Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Subject Matter Experts.
- Agile Environment Adaptability: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
- Accessibility Testing Knowledge: Thorough understanding of testing digital solutions for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) conformance, with preference for candidates with current accessibility training.
