Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop IoT solutions to facilitate automation and machine connectivity within the production environment.
Manage automation projects for Thick Film Paste production: Analyze improvement potentials, develop concepts, drive implementation in collaboration with supplier & production management
Integrate IoT systems (e.g. Splunk) with existing production equipment, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption to operations.
Support the development and deployment of IoT-enabled applications for monitoring, control, and optimization of production processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and establish connectivity standards for the machines.
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
Successfully completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA) and networking technologies for machine-to-machine connectivity.
Ability to work with industrial automation systems (PLCs, SCADA) and familiarity with Industry 4.0 standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to driving innovation through IoT and automation.
Good communication skills in English & German
