Job Description
Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Automation Solutions Engineering Student to join our BAMS department on a Full-Time basis for 12-months commencing July 2024.
You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our BAMS department. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:
- Assisting the Solutions Engineer and Sales Team in the development of engineering proposals
- Assisting the preparations for technical and commercial aspects of the client requirements
- Supporting the set up and coordination of BAMS trial & demonstration activities.
- Assisting the Solutions Engineer in the development of solution components including drawings, simulations, process descriptions, and costings
- Contributing to the solution development in a timely manner in collaboration with the Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams
- Assisting Sales team to capture, collate, and articulate client inputs and requirements.
- Preparing handover information for Engineering team for successful opportunities
- Supporting cost calculation process for solution proposals
- Collating tender information to assist the responsible tender lead.

Qualifications
You will have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well with teams and have excellent organisational and communication skills.
To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in and completed units towards an Engineering (Electrical/Robotics/Automation/Simulation) Undergraduate degree.
- Experience with drawing software and a willingness to learn.
- Experience in coordinating information, working in a team environment, and communicating effectively with others is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Keen technical interest, high attention to detail and good presentation and analytical skills
- Some experience with automation in manufacturing environment preferred.
