Description:
Responsibilities:
- Wire electrical/control systems according to design schematics.
- Assemble mechanical systems, including pneumatics, as per design schematics.
- Conduct machine setup and functional checks.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, maintaining detailed records to maximize uptime.
- Employ systematic root cause problem solving to troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing corrective and preventative measures.
- Assist in commissioning new equipment/projects.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order as needed.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and provide necessary training.
- Be available for travel to support new equipment installations.
- Communicate effectively to explain issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborate within a core team environment, fostering cross-functional teamwork.
- Serve as a technical resource for production and process development staff.
- Ensure full compliance with GMIL’s Health & Safety Management System.
- Undertake additional duties as required
