As an Automations Developer at Manchester Metropolitan University, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on automating and optimizing our internal processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze problems and devise efficient solutions.
  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand and interpret information accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Ability to understand the logic flow between instructions and identify any gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience delivering RPA projects using Blue Prism within an AGILE team environment.
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach new starters.
  • Experience in gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into BPMN-style diagrams.
  • Blue Prism APD01 Certification is desirable, but not essential
    The interview process will have 3 stages - an online test, a technical interview, and a final interview stage.
    Candidates with the highest marks from the online test will be taken forward to the technical interview stage, where they will have 2 hours to demonstrate their technical prowess by automating a short process and answering a few questions to measure their suitability for the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to understand workflow processes and requirements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions in line with internal policies and best practices.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new RPA tools and best practices.
  • Help junior developers grow and improve their skills.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the development and implementation phases.
  • Document and maintain process definitions and design specifications.
