Description:

Experienced Automotive Accounting Associate needed for a busy import dealership in Worcester County, MA. Dealership accounting experience is required to be considered for this role. This person will have a strong focus on booking deals. As an Accounting Deal Booker, this person will play a critical role in accurately recording and managing financial transactions associated with vehicle sales, purchases, and other financial activities within the dealership. It is important that the person hired is detail oriented in order to maintain the integrity and precision of the dealership’s accounting records. Experience on CDK is a big plus, but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be a part of the vibrant automotive industry and contribute to the financial success of the dealership. This is a Monday - Friday position.

Responsibilities:

  • Record all financial transactions pertaining to vehicle sales, purchases, and other financial activities meticulously and promptly in our accounting system.
  • Conduct thorough verification and reconciliation of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure that all necessary documents are included in each deal.
  • Posting new and used car deals to accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Be responsible for and maintaining various schedules.
  • Preparing journal entries as required.
  • Calculating sales commissions.
  • Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to guarantee adherence to accounting principles and internal policies.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation and files for easy accessibility and reference.
  • Provide accounting support as needed - payables, receivables, schedule review/analysis.
  • Other duties / cross-training as assigned
