Description:
Experienced automotive Controller needed for new-car dealership in the Queens / Nassau County area. The current Controller is moving to another location within the group which is why this position is becoming available, and will assist in the transition of the new Controller coming in. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dealership accounting and can do the month-end financial statement. Moreover, it is important that Controller hired is a great leader to their accounting staff and is strong at communicating, delegating, training, and holding their team accountable. This person will oversee a team of 3 people in the accounting office. The Automotive Controller will have full reign of their department and will have the authority to structure their accounting office as they see best fit. It is important that the Automotive Comptroller hired also has HR knowledge.
The Automotive Controller will be responsible to manage the financial activities of the dealership and ensure that financial goals are met. This person will be responsible to close out the month, maintain accurate financial records, analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and provide financial guidance to management. Experience on CDK is preferred, but not mandatory.

- Maintain effective communication with management and other departments
- Maintain regular communication with the Dealer Principal on the standings of the dealership, cost saving measures, and any issues that may require their attention
