Job Description:
We are looking for you as an Automotive Key Account Manager/Client Engagement Manager (m/w/d) as future team member who works with our clients (OEM & Tier1’s) to innovate on the total system solution!

As a client engagement manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

Partner with automotive clients and offer Microchip’s unique successful business perspectives and technology available in our solutions

  • Follow the latest market trends in the industry and identify new fields of play within to engage with the new clients
  • Create valid business reasons to engage with new sales leads in early sales funnel stages
  • Use creative approaches for new client engagements and problem-solving activities
  • Identify the key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchip’s solutions whilst supporting them within their organization
  • Manage and grow strategic client accounts
  • Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across client’s divisions and geographical locations
  • Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients

Requirements/Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding and background in Automotive Industry with track record in the OEM/Tier1 environment
  • Good understanding of Automotive market dynamics and long-term industry experience
  • Ability to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contacts
  • Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teams
  • Ability to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions.
  • Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business and system requirements.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Business fluent language skills in German and English
  • Relevant automotive market knowledge and industry experience
