Job Summary:
Jenkins Chevrolet of Venice is seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Venice, Florida. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the fast-paced and exciting automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience and performance. Additionally, our sales consultants have the potential to earn bonuses and commissions. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, vacation and sick days, and a 401k plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets set by the dealership
  • Understand and demonstrate product knowledge
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up
  • Assist customers in selecting the perfect vehicle for their needs and budget
  • Conduct test drives and present vehicle features and benefits
  • Negotiate pricing and financing options with customers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all dealership promotions and incentives
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and request referrals
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to consistently improve processes and achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
