Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in automotive sales. Previous leadership experience and Stellantis experience is considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to lead and build a cohesive team through effectively motivating, inspiring and engaging employees to deliver exceptional results while maintaining a customer-centric approach
- A team player committed to working with leadership and employees to ensure goal alignment and achievement
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with the demonstrated ability to track and measure results
- Results driven with exceptional planning, organization and execution skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (excel & outlook), sales and dealer management software as well as CRM systems
- A valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the variable department and train, support and coach the sales and finance team in all aspects of the sales process.
- Manage new and used inventory levels to ensure available inventory is balanced and appropriate for the market and that stock rotation is efficient and optimized
- Manage our fleet customers and inventory
- Determine and order appropriate stock of new vehicles (colour, model, equipment) based on analysis of relevant client and market analysis
- Appraise, purchase, recondition and market used vehicles to generate profit for the dealership
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of employees while taking an active role in developing talent for the future
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
- Keep abreast of all the manufacturer’s current product and promotions and communicates changes to the variable team
- Maintain effective communication within the variable department and with other leaders in the dealership; working together to identify opportunities and resolve issues
