We have an immediate opening for a responsible, safe, and dedicated Journeyperson or Apprentice Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team at the Edmonton City Center location. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including commercial fleet vehicles, and completing work orders ensuring the highest standards of service.
Competitive Salary based on experience: $35-$45/ Hour + $5000 signing/retention bonus ($1000 on first cheque, $2000 after 3 months and $2000 after six months)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Journeyman Automotive Service Technician preferred, apprentices will also be considered
  • A valid driver’s license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver’s abstract
  • Must be OOP and CVIP certified or be able eligible to obtain certifications
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical experienced candidates will be given higher preference.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders
  • Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including WHMIS, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Advise customers and customer-facing Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
  • The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
  • Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
  • Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
