Faculty Appointment Types Full-time Probationary Job Summary
The College of New Caledonia is looking for an instructor to instruct Apprenticeship levels and Foundation level training in the Automotive Service Technician Program.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Interprovincial Trades Qualification in the Automotive trade
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an Automotive Journeyperson
  • Ability to deal effectively with students on an individual or group basis
  • Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair including transmissions and drive train, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance is required

Preference will be given to those candidates who are current in the trade and who have proven teaching and/or supervisory experience.
You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.
You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.
